Black Dog Gelato wants Chicago to know that summer is indeed coming as the gourmet frozen treat slinger preps to open a new West Loop location in addition to its original Ukrainian Village location. That location at 859 N. Damen Avenue opens for the season on Friday, April 12 with a special menu with nine flavors inspired by HBO’s Game of Thrones. Flavors include “You Know Muffin Jon Snow (but Bran does)” (bran muffin, raisin), “The City of Brotherly Sisterly Love” (Philly-style cheesecake, wine-soaked berries), and “Moonpie Door” (Graham cracker, chocolate marshmallow).
