In late October, we launched Pint Club—a convenient way for gelato fans, ice cream lovers, and foodies alike to access our gelato all year round. Currently only available for local delivery and pick up, our monthly boxes are packed with flavorful gelato and a few surprises.

With COVID forcing our shops to open later this year, like many restaurants and small businesses, we looked for ways to innovate and survive. We’ve always wanted to create a Pint Club, and in the age of social distancing, it felt like a natural next step for Black Dog Gelato.

Pint Club is also our way of doing something fun for our loyal customers who enjoy our freshly made gelato and our unique and sometimes unconventional flavors. We wanted to give year-round access without the high overhead of keeping three shops open over the winter when fewer people venture outdoors.

For $35/month, members of Black Dog Gelato Pint Club receive three pints of freshly churned gelato in either our signature, dairy-free, or featured flavors. The featured flavors rotate monthly. Members also receive many great benefits, such as discounts on in-shop purchases and loyalty points, monthly promotions, early access to limited-edition menus, and more.

The bright pink box comes filled with three pints of gelato, free samples/gifts, and recipes from Jess.

In November, as part of our launch, we announced three new flavor collaborations with well-known Chicago brands: Portillo’s Chocolate Cake, Chai Love using Tiesta Tea, and our annual Prop Day flavor with Goose Island, Bourbon County Stout. All three flavors are initially only available through Pint Club.
