Cinnamon Roll Gelato Sandwich

Gelato served in a bread sandwich is not only a classic in Italy but also in Mexico, Singapore, and many other places around the world. Take your holiday morning breakfast to a whole new level with this indulgent recipe, perfect for sharing….or not!
Ingredients
- 1 cinnamon roll
- 1 Large scoop of Rum Raisin gelato
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- A schmear of orange or apricot marmalade
DIRECTIONS
Step 1
Carefully slice the cinnamon roll in half horizontally.
STEP 2
In a skillet, over medium-high heat, melt the butter completely. Spread the butter over the middle of the skillet with a spatula. Rub the cinnamon roll slices, inside down, in the melted butter.
STEP 3
When toasted to a golden brown and the frosting is beginning to melt, use a spatula to carefully lift the roll pieces out of the pan. Let cool slightly.
STEP 4
Spread the marmalade over the grilled side of each piece.
STEP 5
Place a large scoop of Rum Raisin gelato on one half of the cinnamon roll and sandwich with the other.
STEP 6
