Introducing the “Chef’s Series” at Black Dog Gelato
Black Dog Gelato will be partnering with a different guest chef each month to collaborate on a flavor that will be available for purchase all month long. Our first month, June will feature a flavor collaboration with Stephanie Izard.
Black Dog Gelato is pleased to announce their inaugural Chef’s Series. This collaboration of flavors will bring together important voices in the Chicago food scene with a focus on highlighting women. Each participant will partner with Jessica Oloroso, the founder of Black Dog Gelato to create their own unique flavor that will become the featured flavor for that particular month.
Our Chef Series will officially kick off June 1st, 2018 with the first flavor being a collaboration between Stephanie Izard, of Girl & the Goat and Jessica Oloroso. The official flavor is Toasted Mizu Giandjua Crunch.
In addition, 10% of all Pint Sales for the Chef Series will be going to the charity of the partner’s choice. Stephanie has chosen to donate the pints sold of her flavor to Mission Muscle (https://www.missionmuscle.org/).
“I’ve been very inspired by all the strong female voices of the past year and I’m excited to join forces with some of Chicago’s most creative women.” shares Jessica Oloroso, Owner of Black Dog Gelato. She continues: “We’re excited for the opening of our new patio, new hours and the release of our always on “Signature Flavors” which of course includes our famous Goat Cheese Caramel. We’re also thrilled to announce the re-release of our famous Whiskey Bacon Bars!”
